UCLA requires us to place retention grooves in the proximal walls (not the axial walls) of the proximal box. They have specified 0.5 mm wide and deep. Is it best to use a round bur for it or just the GMT? Also, Can you please explain the exact location and direction in which the grooves are supposed to be made?
In addition, how do we place a 30 degree bevel that is 0.5mm in the gingival wall?
