Hi Dr Alyssa! Thanks for your feedback. I had a few questions regarding the Class II prep #30.
1. Is the occlusal convergence appropriate?
2. Is the proximal box prep adequate? Can I redo it in the next prep?
3. Is the pulpal floor adequately flat?
4. Can you give me an idea about the cavity width in terms of the #330 bur?
5. Was the dovetail preparation in the right location?
1. Is the occlusal convergence appropriate?
– Overall okay, but the walls have been fiddled with a lot in a way that’s not favorable. This is one of the reasons I’m asking you to work on your hand skills.
2. Is the proximal box prep adequate? Can I redo it in the next prep? – When I focus on hand skills, I do focus more on the occlusal part of the prep. Next submission, if you have questions, ask in a more specific way to make sure I answer your doubts. Right now I’m trying to get you focused on one thing that will improve all parts of your work.
3. Is the pulpal floor adequately flat? – yes
4. Can you give me an idea about the cavity width in terms of the #330 bur? https://courses.internationaldentistcentral.com/common-mistakes/measuring-isthmus-width/
5. Was the dovetail preparation in the right location? -yes
