Notes for Improvement:
Don't forget the basics. Clinically acceptable before ideal. In this case, depth of prep and opening contacts

Upper Molar Cl II Design Possibilities

Thanks again for your comments.
I said no diamond bur I meant for composite prep there is no diamond bur!
According to those burs, do I need to use bur 556 instead of #56 in order to make the pulpal and gingival floor flat and internal angles a little sharper for amalgam prep( because of those retentive grooves)?
My Fifth question was not about the shape of the line angles, it was about the angle of axial wall to the pulpal and gingival floors, these line angles should be 90 degree? I mean this wall should have a little tilt like the medial wall of the tooth or completely vertical ?
Following information is related to the last year:
#4 MO composite prep
#19 Mo amalgam prep
#8 PFM
#3 analgam filling Mo
#29 composite filling DO
And for amalgam prep, retentive grooves should have been done. My question is that these grooves should go all the way to the occlusal surface or to the pulpal floor? Because we don’t have line angle anymore!
Do you have any video to share with me please? Also video or picture of MO composite prep on upper second premolar?
Thank you
Marzieh
